Momentum

Momentum

If there are things in your life that you don’t like, then recognise that you are still, at least to some extent, a vibrational match to those things. It will take you as much time to manifest the things you do want instead, as it takes you to become a vibrational match to those things.

Be kind to yourself. You have some momentum going in the wrong direction and you simply need to turn it around. The Law of Attraction is all about momentum. Imagine a passenger train going at break neck speed down a track. If it was physically able to change direction without slowing down, it would break the necks of the people on it and probably half the mechanics inside it too. It needs to first slow down and stop going in one direction before it can go in a new direction, and you are no different.

To go in the right direction, heading towards all your wonderful abundance, you need to work on the basic principle that ‘like attracts like’, so the more you think, feel and behave in a way that matches what you want to attract, the faster momentum for that match will build. It only takes a small thought, feeling or action to get going because one small thing will attract another like it and so on. How fast you go is up to you, but taking baby steps is a great place to start.

Think positively about what you want and if you can’t think positively about it, know that the Universe has heard you anyway and think about something else. This is very important. We can have a natural tendency to focus all our attention on the things in our life that are going wrong – just because we want to fix those things and we are led to believe that we have to work out solutions to our problems.

We think of this as being responsible and helping ourselves. But a solution has a very different frequency to a problem, so the best way to find one is to take your mind off the problem and not try to think or solve it to death. That approach gets your vibration all gnarled up and only gathers momentum in the wrong direction. Taking your mind off your issues and only focussing on the things that are going right for you might feel counterintuitive, but it really works.

Two great ways to change momentum if you are struggling with negative thoughts, are meditation and sleep. If you have a bad day, before you go to sleep, set your intention that you are going to leave today behind and wake up fresh and rejuvenated in the morning.

Then when you wake up the next day, don’t think about what went wrong yesterday, or pick up the phone to your friends to tell them; decide that today is a new day and it’s going to be a good one. Then get on with doing whatever it is you need to in order to make it a good one. Tell yourself things are getting better and the Universe is in the process of helping that be so.
